Praising God Through Spiritual Warfare

Over the past few weeks, I’ve felt a praise rise up like never before. I knew I was in battle some weeks back when I was led to pull out my spiritual warfare songs. Songs from Rick Pino [You’re an Army dressed for Battle], David Crowder [Crushing Snakes], Zach Williams [Empty Grave] and when that round of warfare was lifted, the praise didn’t stop but the songs shifted in my spirit. The shift was still geared towards spiritual warfare but with a sweet melody.

I found myself shouting praise in my home more and more. Did the warfare lift? Not completely. The enemy is trying his best to take out the children of God but God is so wonderful. He placed a song in my spirit that I just can’t shake. This song was so deep in my spirit, not only is it still here at this very moment but I found myself updating my Facebook Cover to say the exact words of the beginning of the song, “Let Praise be a weapon that silences the enemy”. That’s right! Matt Redman has a song called “We Praise You” and this has been in my spirit for days now. Just the lyric’s alone has led me to believe this is where God wants us to be [praising Him].

Let praise be a weapon that silences the enemy Let praise be a weapon that conquers all anxiety Let it rise, let praise arise

We sing Your name in the dark and it changes ev'rything We sing with all we are and we claim Your victory Let it rise, let praise arise

We'll see you break down ev'ry wall We'll watch the giants fall For fear cannot survive when we praise You The God of breakthrough is on our side, forever lifted high With all creation cry, God we praise You. Oh, we praise You. Oh Oh, we praise You. Oh, we praise You Oh, we praise You. Oh, we praise You

This song brings such a confidence in the Father. It feels like an anthem that flows through your spirit raising a banner against the enemy.

Have you been singing a tune that you just can’t shake? This is God fighting your battles.

Since I’ve been praising God, I’ve notice a newness of life and I know that God has bought a change of scenery in my life. He’s turning things around for my good and I just praise Him for it!

Enjoy this season and let God use you as an instrument of praise. You’ll see Him break down every wall and watch the giants fall!

Psalm 95 1-2 Come, let’s shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us!

Let’s march into his presence singing praises, lifting the rafters with our hymns!
